Role overview

This contract-based remote position is for a Data Scientist who will contribute to training next-generation AI systems. The role focuses on using domain expertise to create high-quality, real-world input that helps improve how models learn, reason, and perform. Prior experience in AI is not mandatory; strong subject-matter knowledge is the key requirement.

Core responsibilities

Gather, prepare, and clean varied datasets so they are reliable and ready for analysis.
Create, test, and apply statistical models to turn complex information into practical insights.
Perform exploratory analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Translate findings into clear visual dashboards and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Work with teammates to plan and deliver data projects from initial concept through final execution.
Refine analytical methods and automate repetitive steps to make data workflows more efficient.
Share recommendations clearly in written and spoken communication with accuracy and impact.

Skills and qualifications

The role calls for strong knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and data analysis methods. Candidates should be comfortable handling large and complex datasets, writing code in Python, R, or similar languages, and building predictive models. Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is valuable, along with a sharp eye for detail and strong communication skills.

Preferred background

Applicants who have worked in remote, cross-functional, or customer-oriented teams may be a better fit. Experience in building and deploying machine learning solutions in production is also preferred.
