Role overview
As a Department Manager, you will guide and motivate your team while helping build an inclusive, cooperative workplace where people can do their best work. You will contribute to both team performance and overall business success by acting consistently with the company’s values.
What you will do
- Steer the team toward an excellent customer experience by maintaining strong operational and visual standards and by actively supporting product selling.
- Own the performance of your store and department by reviewing sales results, spotting commercial opportunities, setting targets, and building plans to improve sales, profitability, and stock efficiency.
- Handle team rosters, scheduling, and smooth opening and closing procedures.
- Recruit, onboard, and grow your team while encouraging an open, collaborative, and innovative culture.
- Keep track of fashion trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to stay commercially strong.
- Act as a positive representative of both yourself and the brand in every customer interaction.
Who you will work with
You will be part of a store-based team where different roles work together to create a welcoming shopping environment. This includes Sales Advisors, Department Managers, Store Managers, Visual Merchandisers, Assistant Store Managers, Cash Office Responsible, and Delivery Responsible in larger stores. You will also work with the wider Area Team to exchange insights and support performance across stores.
In this role, you will help customers feel confident and express their personal style through current trends and classic looks, while contributing to a fashion experience that is accessible and sustainable.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate brings retail management and operations experience, strong leadership ability, and a genuine interest in coaching and developing others. You should be comfortable with sales planning, analysis, follow-up, and using customer-focused tools and reports.
You should also be a confident leader who builds trust, works well in dynamic teams, solves problems proactively, and is motivated by delivering great customer experiences. Curiosity about fashion trends, commercial results, and competitor insights is important, as are strong communication, creativity, flexibility, and analytical thinking. Comfort with numbers and performance metrics is essential.

Additional information
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The position reports to the Store Manager.
