Role Summary

This position is responsible for driving company vehicles safely and on time to move internal and external stakeholders, as well as documents, to different destinations. The job must be carried out in line with company policy, local traffic rules, and all required safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry personnel and documents to and from assigned destinations as part of daily transport needs.
• Complete pre-start inspections every day and fill out the required vehicle checklist before use.
• Drive to locations beyond the mine site whenever the assignment requires it.
• Ensure vehicle movements, including arrivals and departures, are handled safely and without delay.
• Record and report accidents, vehicle faults, and repair needs to the Chief Driver.
• Share task completion updates and relevant feedback with the Chief Driver.
• Follow all company health, safety, and security procedures without exception.

Work Location

The role is based at the Accra Hub in Accra, Greater Accra Region, Ghana. The workplace type is onsite.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid Ghanaian Driver’s License, Category C.
• Three to five years of driving experience in a multinational organization.
• Working knowledge of road signs, traffic regulations, and local routes across Ghana.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good interpersonal ability and customer service orientation.
