Role overview
A fintech client is looking to hire a long-term temporary Executive Assistant for its Midtown West office in New York. The arrangement follows a flexible hybrid model, with in-office presence expected 1 to 2 days per week, ideally on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on business needs. The assignment is expected to start as soon as the right person is identified. Compensation is up to $50 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a complex executive calendar across several time zones.
- Arrange both domestic and international travel.
- Record, review, reconcile, and submit business expense reports.
- Monitor and manage budget-related deductions.
- Help plan team events, outings, and client gatherings.
- Support additional projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 5 consecutive years of experience supporting executives, ideally within finance, fintech, or technology.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
- Excellent organization, multitasking ability, close attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stay composed, professional, discreet, and trustworthy when working with confidential information.
- Comfort adapting quickly to changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- A collaborative mindset with a flexible, can-do approach to any task.
