Job Overview
This role is based at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in Doha, Qatar. The position sits within Minor Hotels, a global hotel group with more than 530 properties across 50+ countries in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America, operating brands such as Anantara, Avani, Elewana, Oaks, NH Hotels, NH Collection, nhow, and TIVOLI.
Role Purpose
You will contribute to the smooth running of the hotel’s Food & Beverage operation by helping drive guest satisfaction, supporting team performance, and contributing to strong business outcomes. The role requires you to uphold high service standards, keep the work environment safe and hygienic, and ensure that food and beverage offerings meet the brand’s quality expectations.
Key Duties
In this position, you will deliver prompt and courteous service in line with brand and F&B procedures. You will also help build a positive team culture, support day-to-day team member relations, and encourage staff to solve problems independently through proper coaching, training, and empowerment.
Qualifications
The employer is looking for candidates with a college diploma in Hotel Management or a related discipline, along with prior experience in Food & Beverage or restaurant operations. Strong leadership and teamwork qualities are important, as is a sharp eye for detail and the ability to maintain operational excellence. Excellent guest service ability is also required.
