Fleet Coordinator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Logistic Coordinator with substantial experience in manufacturing logistics operations to become a part of our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is crucial for overseeing logistics operations, managing fleet activities, handling necessary permits, scheduling vehicle maintenance, and coordinating all transportation efforts for our manufacturing and project endeavors. The successful candidate will be adept at managing both heavy and light vehicles, liaising with drivers, and securing essential road and transportation permits, including Road Permits and ITC.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily logistics and transportation activities supporting manufacturing and project operations.
• Manage the fleet, encompassing both heavy equipment and light vehicles.
• Track and coordinate driver schedules, movements, and operational needs.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for vehicles and equipment, ensuring follow-through.
• Liaise with authorities like Asateel for vehicle registration, permits, and necessary approvals.
• Ensure all vehicle documentation, insurance, and permits are current and valid.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle performance metrics, and maintenance histories.
• Arrange for breakdown assistance and repair scheduling to minimize operational disruptions.
• Compile and maintain comprehensive logistics reports and operational records.
• Assist operational teams with transportation and equipment planning requirements.

Additional Information

• Arabic nationality is preferred for this role.
• Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE.
• Preference will be given to individuals who can join immediately.
• A UAE driving license is considered an advantage.
