Role overview
Global Technology Solutions Ltd. is hiring an Implementation Consultant for an on-site position in Doha, Qatar. This role sits within a fashion retail and digital transformation environment and is focused on helping launch, embed, and improve a digital platform used across Product Development, Purchasing, Quality, Design, and Supply Chain teams.
The position is based in China and requires close daily coordination with local users, suppliers, and commercial offices, while also partnering with Product, Process, Technology, and Support teams at global headquarters. The consultant will serve as the key link between local operations and international stakeholders, supporting adoption, communication, and alignment with global ways of working.
The role is paid at a rate of $585 per day.
Key responsibilities
- Drive platform rollout and adoption across local teams and supplier-facing operations.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and change management activities.
- Encourage active use of the platform and support the shift away from manual or legacy workflows.
- Track adoption trends and remove obstacles that limit user engagement.
- Help ensure that global business standards and process requirements are followed.
- Act as the main point of contact between local users and global Product, Process, Technology, and Support groups.
- Convert operational feedback, business needs, and user challenges into clear action points for internal teams.
- Share updates on product changes, new features, process revisions, and issue outcomes with stakeholders.
- Compile status updates, issue notes, and structured feedback for headquarters teams.
- Escalate incidents and risks with the right business context and urgency.
- Provide everyday support to users in Product, Purchasing, Quality, Design, and Supply Chain functions.
- Look into functional issues, service requests, and process-related challenges and support their resolution.
- Coordinate with specialist teams when escalation is needed.
- Follow issues through to closure and keep users informed throughout the process.
- Run onboarding sessions, workshops, and user training programs.
- Create and tailor training resources, user guides, and support documentation.
- Help users understand both system features and the full business process flow.
- Support consistent adoption and standardized working methods.
- Review core business processes and make sure platform use fits operational needs.
- Spot process gaps, adoption issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collect user insights and turn them into practical recommendations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts with Product, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Travel within Qatar and Spain to assist offices, suppliers, and business teams.
- Take part in occasional overseas travel for project alignment, training, and implementation work.
- Support deployment, go-live, onboarding, and stabilization activities when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in software implementation, digital transformation, business process improvement, user adoption, or functional support roles.
- Direct experience working with business users and operational teams.
- Ability to understand complex business workflows and enterprise applications.
- Experience in fast-moving, technology-driven environments.
- Exposure to international or cross-functional teams is an advantage.
- Strong capability in business process analysis and problem-solving.
- Ability to identify process gaps, functional issues, and adoption barriers.
- Experience documenting requirements, incidents, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Comfort using enterprise applications and digital collaboration tools.
- Strong organization, follow-up, and issue-resolution skills.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across cultures and stakeholder groups.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building ability.
- Ability to explain technical or complex ideas in simple terms for non-technical audiences.
- Proactive approach to sharing risks, priorities, and business impact.
- Native or fluent Arabic is required.
- Advanced professional English, both spoken and written, is required.
- Spanish is considered a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel within China.
- Availability for occasional international travel.

- Exposure to Agile, Product, or Technology teams is beneficial.
