Role overview
This position is for an entry-level data analyst who will help turn raw information into useful insights for everyday business decisions. The work centers on collecting, checking, organizing, and interpreting data so teams can monitor performance, understand trends, and support strategic planning.
You will work with data drawn from different sources and help prepare it for analysis. The role includes cleaning datasets, checking for accuracy, spotting basic patterns, and supporting senior analysts or other teams with regular reporting tasks.
Key duties
- Gather data from multiple sources and prepare it for use
- Clean, structure, and maintain datasets
- Run simple analyses to identify trends, patterns, and notable changes
- Check data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
- Keep datasets and supporting documentation up to date
- Help build reports, dashboards, and summary outputs
- Handle routine analytics requests and other ad hoc tasks
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs
- Record methods, assumptions, and source details clearly
- Assist with performance monitoring and operational reporting
- Follow established data-quality and governance practices
