Junior VTS Operator

Job Summary

DP World is seeking a Junior VTS Operator to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This role involves ensuring effective communication with vessels and agents, supporting traffic planning, and assisting in the coordination of marine operations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining VTS records, supporting berth allocation, and contributing to customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain clear and timely communication with ships and agents, adhering to established procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
• Aid in the development and implementation of safe and efficient traffic plans under supervision, ensuring adherence to operational boundaries.
• Facilitate coordination with customers, pilots, and marine assets, promptly identifying and supporting the resolution of any issues.
• Respond to emergency calls according to established protocols, ensuring prompt reporting and appropriate escalation.
• Keep VTS records and documentation accurate and current, ensuring they are complete and ready for inspection.
• Assist in berth allocation and vessel scheduling to promote seamless operations and reduce delays.
• Uphold customer service standards through efficient task completion and compliance with operational guidelines.
• Support VTS office functions, including managing passes, permits, documentation, and administrative coordination under supervision to ensure operational smoothness and compliance.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Saudi Arabia.
