Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site labouring opportunity on a defence and infrastructure construction project located near Rockingham, Western Australia. The position sits within the Duratec-Ertech Joint Venture and is suited to people who are dependable, practical, and comfortable with physically demanding site work as part of a construction crew.
What you will be doing
- Carrying out general site labouring tasks and manual handling duties
- Working in the vicinity of plant and equipment on civil construction activities
- Supporting tradespeople with day-to-day site tasks
- Loading and unloading building materials manually
- Helping with site preparation and keeping the work area clean and orderly
- Using basic hand tools and power tools safely
- Working in line with site instructions and all safety requirements
- Holding traffic control experience and/or a traffic control ticket is considered an advantage
What you need
- A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- A driver’s licence and access to reliable transport
- A strong sense of responsibility and consistent attendance
- The physical fitness needed for manual outdoor work
- The ability to take direction and work well with others
- Flexibility to start early and work weekends when required
- A cooperative approach and a good fit for team-based work
- Willingness to complete pre-employment checks, including medical assessments, police checks, and security vetting
- A genuine focus on health and safety
