Role overview
SeeEd is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineering professionals and help shape the delivery of key technical initiatives. This role is centered on guiding people, driving project execution, and encouraging a culture of innovation and teamwork across the engineering function.
It is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can balance strategy, coordination, and technical understanding while helping the organization achieve strong engineering outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direction, coaching, and day-to-day leadership to a team of engineers while building a supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Track engineering work from planning through delivery, with attention to deadlines, quality, and efficient use of resources.
- Help define the department’s longer-term objectives and align engineering priorities with broader business goals.
- Work closely with other teams to ensure engineering efforts connect smoothly with company-wide initiatives.
- Allocate people, tools, and technical resources effectively to support project and organizational needs.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience managing engineering teams and delivering projects successfully from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of the relevant industry or domain, including awareness of current developments and emerging technologies.
- Solid technical grounding in engineering principles, methods, and tools related to the role.
- Strategic thinking ability with experience contributing to long-range technical planning and execution.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with good judgment in fast-moving environments.
