About the Internship
Uboard India Limited, a leading innovator in electric micro-mobility, invites engineering students interested in manufacturing and process enhancement to join as Manufacturing Data Analyst interns. This opportunity involves supporting production planning and manufacturing operations by collaborating with production teams to scrutinize manufacturing data and enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Role Responsibilities
- Examine production datasets to uncover trends influencing productivity, quality, and process efficiency.
- Oversee machine performance metrics including downtime and output to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Monitor material usage, reject rates, and process losses to facilitate waste minimization efforts.
- Analyze cycle times, production capacities, and workflow efficiencies to boost operational effectiveness.
- Create dashboards, MIS reports, and KPIs for management evaluations.
- Aid production planning by supervising work orders, inventory status, and scheduling.
- Partner with teams across Production, Quality, and Planning to propose improvements grounded in data analysis.
Candidate Eligibility
Applicants must be Mechanical Engineering students available for a full-time onsite internship lasting three months. They should commence between July 16 and August 20, 2026, possess relevant skills, and a keen interest in manufacturing data analysis.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Understanding of manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, downtime, rejection rates, and productivity metrics.
Stipend and Benefits
