Role Overview
Bostani is looking for a creative Packaging Designer who can turn brand values into elegant, practical, and high-end packaging. In this role, you will help create packaging that strengthens the brand’s luxury chocolatier image and improves the customer’s unboxing experience. You will work alongside teams in creative, branding, marketing, and production to develop packaging that is attractive, structurally reliable, and in line with current market directions.
Packaging Design and Development
- Develop packaging concepts for chocolate ranges, seasonal collections, and one-off collaboration releases.
- Build visual mockups and 3D visuals for boxes, sleeves, labels, and inserts.
- Choose materials and finishing techniques such as embossing, foil stamping, and spot UV to add a premium feel.
Brand Consistency
- Make sure every packaging concept stays true to Bostani’s identity, including borders, motifs, and color schemes.
- Coordinate with the Creative Brand Developer to keep storytelling aligned across all physical brand touchpoints.
Trend Research and Innovation
- Study new directions in luxury packaging, sustainable materials, and memorable unboxing experiences.
- Suggest inventive formats such as magnetic closures, drawer-style packaging, and shapes inspired by the region.
Production and Supplier Coordination
- Prepare files that are ready for printing and work with suppliers to achieve strong production quality.
- Check physical samples and proofs to confirm the design, material, and finishing are accurate.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a similar discipline is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in packaging design, ideally within FMCG or luxury products.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of 3D tools such as Dimension or KeyShot will be an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of print production workflows and packaging construction.
