Responsibilities

The painter will handle surface preparation and finishing work for interior and exterior projects. Duties include repairing damaged areas, applying coatings and coverings, and helping with setup and cost estimates.

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and getting them ready for paint.
• Fix cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections.
• Blend paint to match the required color and finish.
• Measure, cut, and install wallpaper and similar wall coverings.
• Guide clients on color selection and wall-covering choices.
• Set up scaffolding, swing stages, and rigging as needed.
• Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishing materials to indoor and outdoor surfaces.
• Estimate labor, material, and other project costs.

Additional Information

Frequent or constant travel between work locations is required.
