About the Role
Join the Bureau of Meteorology's People Connect team as a Payroll Processing Officer in Perth, Western Australia. This role is part of the Organisational Development Program within the Enterprise Services Group, focusing on delivering operational Human Resource (HR) advice and services to the Bureau's diverse workforce. The work is dynamic, engaging, and multifaceted.
About the Team
As a member of the Bureau's Payroll Team, you will be a dedicated public service pay and conditions specialist with a robust work ethic. Your responsibilities will include managing employee entitlements under the Bureau's Enterprise Agreement, processing payroll using SAP HRMS, offering guidance to employees, and generating relevant correspondence and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Process employee entitlements accurately and efficiently using SAP HRMS.
- Interpret and apply conditions stipulated in the Bureau's Enterprise Agreement.
- Provide expert advice to employees regarding pay and conditions.
- Prepare and manage associated correspondence and documentation related to payroll.
- Work independently to meet team objectives and output requirements.
Requirements for Success
- Demonstrated experience with SAP HRMS.
- Proven ability to understand and interpret complex employment conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a high degree of motivation.
- Capacity to work with a high degree of independence.
- Accuracy and timeliness in task completion.
