The position is based in Germany and offers a salary of €90,000 to €120,000, depending on experience.
What you will do
- Take responsibility for delivering electrical infrastructure and mission-critical projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
- Bring together engineering, commercial, procurement, construction and commissioning teams to keep delivery aligned.
- Create and maintain project programmes, budgets, staffing plans and delivery timelines.
- Develop effective working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to tender submissions, project planning and mobilisation for new assignments.
- Ensure work is delivered in line with contract commitments, commercial targets and programme milestones.
- Encourage and maintain strong standards in health, safety, quality and environmental performance.
- Oversee project risks, change management and financial performance.
- Track progress and provide regular updates on schedule, cost, quality and risk.
- Chair project meetings and promote collaboration across all stakeholders.
- Support improvement initiatives that enhance delivery efficiency and operational outcomes.
What the employer is looking for
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a similar field.
- Background in delivering large electrical infrastructure, substations, renewable energy, transmission and distribution, or data centre projects.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
- Strong commercial understanding, including management of budgets, contracts and project finances.
- Experience handling subcontractors, suppliers and client relationships during project delivery.
- Confident leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Capability to work across multiple disciplines and solve technically and commercially complex issues.
- Solid knowledge of health, safety and quality expectations in EPC or engineering settings.
- Fluency in both German and English.
