Role Overview
BuzzClan is seeking a Proposal Writer to manage and develop complete proposal responses for US SLED and commercial agency opportunities. The role focuses on producing accurate, compliant, and persuasive submissions for IT solutions and staffing needs.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the full proposal lifecycle for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and SOWs, ensuring submissions are completed on time and meet all compliance requirements.
- Use prompt engineering and strong technical understanding of application development, web/CMS platforms, and QA practices to assess solicitation needs and shape solution responses.
- Review proposal documents to build response plans, compliance matrices, trackers, and win-theme strategies based on evaluation criteria and client requirements.
- Write, refine, and validate technical proposal content covering solution approaches, delivery methodology, past performance, and architecture narratives.
- Work closely with SMEs, delivery teams, pricing teams, and business development to collect inputs and confirm technical correctness.
- Keep proposal libraries current by maintaining boilerplate content, past performance references, technical write-ups, and lessons learned.
- Perform detailed quality checks to ensure proposals are free from grammar and spelling issues, follow US English standards, and comply with formatting and submission rules.
- Support positioning efforts by identifying differentiators, evaluating competitor messaging, and crafting strong value propositions.
Required Background
Candidates should have 1 to 5 years of experience in technical proposal writing for US SLED and commercial markets, along with a solid understanding of government procurement and IT solutions/staffing domains.
Education
Applicants should hold a B.Tech, MCA, or any graduate degree with IT as a specialization.
