Project Overview
This opportunity sits within ACCIONA’s flagship infrastructure project in Western Australia: the Alkimos Desalination Plant Project. The plant is planned to begin first production in 2028. The scope covers design, construction, operation, and maintenance, and includes marine works, tunnels, a seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater systems, drinking water storage and pumping systems, plus civil, electrical, and bulk earthworks.
Role Summary
The Rigger will be responsible for coordinating and executing lifts across the site using cranes, elevated work platforms, and other lifting equipment. The role involves preparing slings and rigging gear, guiding crane operators, and checking equipment before every lift to ensure safe and accurate placement of plant and materials. You will collaborate closely with crane operators, boilermakers, and site supervisors to keep lifting activities moving safely and on time.

Required Background
- A valid rigging licence is required, with Intermediate Rigging (CW4) as the minimum level.
