Role Overview
This role sits within sales development and supports the creation of new business opportunities by working inbound leads and/or executing outbound campaigns. The position helps build pipeline for the company’s growing business in the region and may support either the Talent Solutions or Sales Solutions business, depending on business needs and candidate fit.
Preferred locations for this role include Bangalore, Mumbai, and Gurgaon. The work arrangement is hybrid, with time split between working from home and coming into a company office on selected days based on team requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Development Representative is expected to work closely with account executives, qualify prospects, and contribute to pipeline growth through structured outreach and disciplined follow-up. The role also involves using customer insights, product knowledge, and qualification methods to create high-quality opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Work in close partnership with account executives by aligning on priorities, targets, and success measures, while following agreed rules of engagement to improve clarity, accountability, and teamwork.
- Reach out to prospects in a structured way, understand their business requirements, and use product knowledge and qualification frameworks such as BANT to identify strong opportunities and define the next step.
- Keep testing and improving outreach methods by using feedback, enriched data, and ongoing experimentation to increase engagement, conversion, and funnel performance.
- Consistently meet monthly and quarterly targets by tying daily activities to key performance indicators, following a clear execution plan, and using data to monitor and improve results.
- Understand how customers make buying decisions, communicate value clearly, and ensure CRM records are accurate to support pipeline quality and forecasting.
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, lead generation, or sales operations. A High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification is also accepted in place of experience.
Preferred candidates will have at least 6 months of experience using CRM or ERP tools such as Salesforce, Dynamics, or HubSpot, along with the ability to keep pipeline data accurate. Experience with modern prospecting methods, including outreach through calls, email, and LinkedIn, as well as AI-based tools for research and productivity, will be useful. Strong communication and analytical ability is also important, along with the ability to read basic metrics, work with sales teams, and keep improving outreach performance.
