Scrum Master / Data Analyst

Role overview

This contract role is for a Scrum Master who also brings strong data analysis capability. The position focuses on converting high volumes of project information into practical insights that support faster delivery, stronger quality, and better decision-making.

What you will do

You will work with Jira and IMS data, create automated reporting, and support Agile ceremonies while helping the team use metrics more effectively. The job combines delivery facilitation with analytics-driven reporting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, tailor, and maintain Jira Structures so performance data can be viewed in real time.
• Build automated Excel-based reports, including pivot tables and visuals, for resource utilization, risk tracking, and variance analysis.
• Review large sets of Jira and IMS data and turn them into clear status updates, forecasts, and executive summaries.
• Translate technical metrics into business-focused recommendations for leadership and project stakeholders.
• Create monitoring methods that identify schedule delays, resource bottlenecks, and quality issues early enough for action.
• Run daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach the team on Scrum practices and help strengthen Agile ways of working.
• Serve as the main connection between the Scrum team and project management.
• Look for ways to simplify Scrum workflows and reporting through better use of analytics.
