- Write maintainable software that goes through unit testing, code review, and regular integration into the main codebase.
- Provide technical direction for best engineering practices and help lead large, cross-functional, and business-critical initiatives.
- Spot opportunities to improve engineering productivity and actively promote better development practices.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science, another related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 1 year of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm-based problem solving.
- Experience coding in one or more languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, React, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, or Ruby.
Preferred background
- Experience designing and building large-scale infrastructure and web services.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, especially in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Solid coding ability in Python or JavaScript/AJAX, plus database design and SQL, and/or familiarity with TCP/IP and network programming.
- Exposure to building web applications and services using tools such as IDEs, Ant, and JUnit.
- Experience with relational databases, database architecture, and distributed transaction handling.
Compensation and benefits

The overall package may also include an annual performance bonus, equity/stock, benefits, and other incentive programs.
Employees and their families are supported through health and wellness programs and paid time away.

The company is committed to providing an accessible hiring experience. Candidates needing a reasonable accommodation during job search, application, or interviews can request support.
