Position Summary

ParetoHealth is hiring an experienced Tableau contractor to improve how data is presented and understood across the business. This role calls for advanced Tableau capability, strong visual design judgment, and the ability to turn complicated healthcare data into dashboards that are clear, useful, and action-oriented.

The contractor will work closely with business stakeholders and contribute 30 to 35 hours each week.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for converting business needs into polished Tableau dashboards, structuring data for scalable reporting, and improving existing reporting assets to make them easier to use and better performing. The role also includes defining dashboard standards, navigation patterns, and metric logic, as well as supporting product and analytics teams with reporting that informs decisions.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate brings expert-level Tableau experience and a portfolio that shows strong dashboard design and data visualization work. You should understand UX/UI and information design principles, be able to reduce complex business problems into practical insights, and have experience working with large, messy, or highly complex datasets.

Experience building Tableau dashboards directly from source tables is important, including data modeling, relationship design, and creating reporting structures that are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly. Strong SQL skills, solid data modeling knowledge, independent project ownership, excellent communication, and stakeholder management abilities are also essential. Success in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities is important for this role.
