About the role
Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Technical Software Support professional to assist customers using the Varian oncology software suite. In this role, you will apply your technical background to investigate incidents, restore service quickly, and help ensure reliable software operation for healthcare customers.

Key responsibilities
- Handle support cases remotely, work through technical issues, and involve additional teams when an issue requires deeper escalation.
- Bring systems back to normal operation as fast as possible to keep interruptions to a minimum.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all support actions in the CRM system.
- Assist with software installation, version upgrades, routine maintenance, and end-user/customer training.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety standards, quality requirements, and internal company procedures.
Technical requirements
- Solid troubleshooting ability across multiple technology layers, including networks, infrastructure, and Windows/Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, networking, and virtualized environments.
- Practical knowledge of one or more of the following: Microsoft SQL Server, Citrix, Microsoft Azure, or Linux-based systems.
- A degree in information technology or a closely related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Prior exposure to medical IT is an advantage.
- Willingness to work beyond normal business hours when business needs require it.
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
