Role Overview
We are hiring a utility worker for a collegiate dining operation in Savannah, Georgia. In this position, you will help keep sanitation processes running smoothly and support the team in completing daily tasks efficiently.
Key Duties
- Clean floors and dining tables, and maintain these areas throughout service.
- Replenish supplies in the dining space as needed.
- Collect waste and dispose of it properly.
- Receive incoming inventory and place stock in the correct areas.
- Wash, sanitize, and maintain dishes, utensils, cooking tools, the dish room, and related equipment.
What We Are Looking For
Successful candidates should follow safe work practices, use good judgment, and be comfortable working both on their own and as part of a team. Previous exposure to food service or maintenance work is preferred but not required.
Work Location
Savannah State University, Savannah, Georgia (US-GA).
Compensation
Pay is offered at $16 to $17 per hour.
