Role Overview

This position is for a commercially minded sales leader to own the New Zealand market and support growth across both the North and South Islands. Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement the commercial growth plan for New Zealand.
  • Improve sales results and market share through major retail partnerships.
  • Build trusted long-term relationships with key wholesale and strategic accounts.
  • Prepare and present business reviews, sales updates, and commercial recommendations.
  • Spot new business opportunities and support wider market expansion.
  • Coordinate community engagement programs, events, and industry activations.
  • Share market intelligence and consumer trend insights with regional leaders.
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and commercial teams to deliver business outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a strong-performing field team.

Essential Experience and Strengths

  • Background in sales leadership, account management, business development, or commercial management.
  • Experience handling strategic retail or wholesale partnerships.

  • Experience coaching and developing teams to high performance.
  • Good analytical thinking and commercial judgment.
  • Ability to design and deliver strategic growth plans.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
