Role overview
Arrow Components is hiring an Account Manager to manage and grow business within an assigned sales territory. The role focuses on building strong customer and supplier relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and driving solution-based selling in the electronics industry.
What you will do
- Identify key markets and new customers in the assigned territory and shape a sales approach that supports long-term account growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts involved in design opportunities and ongoing business challenges.
- Support customer satisfaction through supply chain coordination and other value-added services.
- Use knowledge of technical and engineering environments to work effectively with vendors and customers.
- Apply a strong understanding of electronics pricing programs and commercial models.
- Create strategic plans for assigned accounts and present Arrow’s full portfolio, including key supplier lines.
- Prepare detailed internal quarterly business reviews (iQBRs) with plans and actions to improve sales, demand generation, and customer service.
- Lead regular QBRs with major customers to uncover and expand sales opportunities.
- Promote Arrow’s value-added services, supply chain support, and full life-cycle programs.
- Use sales tracking tools such as Salesforce.com and Oracle Establish, and develop strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Solve complex issues independently, contribute ideas for process improvement, and guide colleagues when needed.
Experience and working style
- This position requires strong subject-matter knowledge and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Expected to handle problems using established solutions while also bringing fresh thinking where needed.
- The role may serve as a long-term career position and includes informal support to junior team members.

Eligibility
Candidates with relevant experience in account management, sales, or similar commercial roles within technical or electronics environments are suitable. The role is intended for professionals with substantial related experience and the ability to manage strategic accounts independently.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of related experience with a 4-year degree, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working with vendors and customers in a technical or engineering setting.
- Strong understanding of strategic account planning and solution selling.
- Knowledge of electronics industry pricing programs and commercial models.
- Ability to prepare and present quarterly business reviews and internal strategic updates.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales tracking systems, including Salesforce.com and Oracle Establish.
- Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and support process improvements.
