Job description

Role overview

This position is part of Swiggy Dineout’s effort to expand its dining-out network and deepen relationships with restaurant partners. The platform spans 34 cities, serves more than 100 million diners, and works with over 21,000 restaurant partners. The broader goal is to make eating out more convenient, help users discover restaurants across quick service, cafes, casual dining, premium and fine-dining segments, and deliver strong savings on dining bills through app-based payments.

The selected candidate will manage partner accounts in a defined territory, typically handling around 70 to 80 accounts and working toward monthly GMV generation of 80 to 90 lakh. The exact partner count and revenue expectations may vary depending on the assigned market and geography.

Work arrangement

This is an office/field role. Employees are expected to work from the office every day from their assigned base location.

Responsibilities

The role combines partner management, business growth, performance tracking, and coordination with internal teams.

  • Bring new restaurant accounts on board by clearly explaining requirements and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing partners and ensure their Restaurant Display Page content remains accurate and well-supported with images.
  • Present Dineout plans and promotional benefits in a convincing manner so partners continue investing month after month.
  • Carry out growth-oriented activities such as offer coordination and marketing alignment to ensure launches happen as scheduled.
  • Handle transaction and payout-related problems, including cases where diners are denied payouts, so the experience stays smooth for both diners and partners.
  • Build account-wise growth plans and track competitor actions to support stronger business outcomes.
  • Use restaurant-facing dashboard data to explain important business metrics to partners.
  • Work with partners to improve the right display and content setup that can drive better conversions and business growth.
  • Monitor competitor investment through field observations, partner conversations, delivery staff inputs, and other market signals.
  • Compare partner investment levels with competitors across discounts, commissions, and advertisements, and explain the value of matching or exceeding them.
  • Coordinate with support, sales operations, and finance teams for discount changes, RDP updates, festival-related data, payout reconciliation, GST questions, and non-credit issues.

Functional expectations

The person in this role should understand Dineout’s offering, know the key growth levers, and be comfortable working with metrics such as restaurant operating hours, ads revenue per order, commission revenue per order, average order value, and conversion-funnel performance. Familiarity with data tools and dashboards such as CMS, Power BI, Compass, and Salesmate is expected. The role also requires understanding account performance across week-wise, month-wise, and day-wise transactions, denial rates, and supply metrics versus competition.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree with 1.5 to 3 years of field sales experience.
  • Ability to speak the local language fluently and working knowledge of English.
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce activities and online marketing channels.
  • Strong communication skills with a confident, pleasant, and proactive approach.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with people from different backgrounds.
  • Good analytical ability and strong Excel skills.
  • Flexibility to work around restaurant owners’ schedules rather than fixed 9-to-5 timings.
  • Leadership and influencing ability to build and use a broad network of contacts across levels.
  • Organized, goal-driven approach with the ability to plan work effectively.
  • Comfort with change, quick adaptation, and implementing practical solutions.
  • Creativity and initiative to improve campaigns and support business growth.

Who can apply

Graduates with relevant field sales experience who are comfortable with in-person partner handling, business development, and flexible working hours may apply. Candidates should also be willing to work from the office and cover field responsibilities in the assigned territory.
