An established private limited company in Kolkata is looking for an Accountant to handle routine accounting work, statutory compliances, and support in preparing financial reports.

The role centers on maintaining day-to-day books of accounts, ensuring compliance-related filings are completed on time, and assisting with financial reporting activities.
Candidate profile
The company is looking for someone with a B.Com or M.Com background; CA Inter qualification will be considered an advantage. The suitable candidate should bring 2 to 5 years of relevant experience gained in a private limited company or a CA firm.
Technical requirements
Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax is important for this position. Hands-on familiarity with Tally and Excel is also required.
Education and eligibility
Applicants should have a B.Com in any specialization. Candidates with M.Com or CA Inter background are also suitable, especially if they meet the experience and skill requirements.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is INR 3,00,000 to 4,00,000 per year.
