Job description

Role overview

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting operations and assist with routine finance administration in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

  • Check, record, and post accounts payable and receivable entries into the accounting system.
  • Handle payment processing accurately and on time.
  • Review and validate petty cash claims.
  • Support monthly and annual closing activities.
  • Provide general administrative assistance as needed.
  • Take on additional tasks and duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • ITE, diploma, or LCCI qualification in Accounting, with or without prior work experience.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-driven, dependable, and eager to learn.
  • Works well in a team, communicates clearly, and shows initiative.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel.

Working arrangement

The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30am to 6:00pm under a hybrid work arrangement.

You should also be prepared to work on one weekend each month.
