Role overview
The Administrative Coordinator will play a key role in keeping day-to-day office activities running smoothly. This full-time position is focused on organizing administrative processes, maintaining documentation, coordinating schedules, and assisting different teams so the business can operate efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee routine administrative workflows and help ensure the office runs efficiently.
- Keep files, records, and company documents organized and up to date.
- Arrange meetings, appointments, and internal or external company events.
- Draft reports, written correspondence, and other business-related paperwork.
- Support data entry, record tracking, and database upkeep.
- Provide administrative help to internal departments as needed.
- Track office inventory and help with purchasing supplies when necessary.
- Manage incoming messages and route questions to the right person or team.
- Follow company procedures and help maintain policy compliance in administrative work.
- Assist leadership with one-off projects and other general administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Completed high school education or an equivalent qualification; a background in Business Administration is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in office administration, coordination, or support roles is preferred.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Well-developed skills in organizing work and managing time effectively.
- Clear and professional verbal as well as written communication.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently without close supervision.
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving ability.
- Must be legally permitted to work in New Zealand.
