Job description
Role overview
TD Securities is seeking analysts for its Equity Capital Markets team in New York. The group is a core adviser and underwriter in global equity capital markets, working closely with investment banking coverage, sales and trading, and equity research. The team supports corporate clients with equity financing strategy, equity-linked transactions, market positioning, and investor engagement across varying market conditions.
What the team handles
The ECM platform works across a broad set of products, including IPOs, follow-on and secondary offerings, private placements, at-the-market transactions, convertible and equity-linked securities, structured equity solutions, and related equity derivatives.
Why this role stands out
- This is a role that bridges banking-style transaction work with the market-facing pace of sales and trading.
- The team sits between coverage banking, sales and trading, and equity research, so the work is highly cross-functional.
- Each day can look different depending on market news, macro developments, and trading conditions.
- Analysts work in a flat, collaborative setting with senior bankers nearby to support learning, client exposure, and relationship building.
- Lean deal teams mean direct involvement in real work and meaningful participation from pitch through execution.
- Responsibilities span pitch materials, transaction documents, sales memos, marketing support, due diligence, execution, and pricing.
- The group also offers an immersive mentorship environment designed to help analysts succeed in the role.
