About the Company

Synthx manufactures, distributes, and exports premium lubricants for automotive and industrial use.

Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager will drive business growth in assigned territories, strengthen distributor and channel partner coverage, and ensure consistent achievement of sales objectives across primary and secondary sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver overall sales growth and meet assigned revenue and volume goals.
  • Identify, appoint, and onboard new channel partners and distributors (DBRs).
  • Meet primary and secondary sales targets for the allocated territory.
  • Expand the secondary network through each distributor to boost off-take.
  • Execute company marketing initiatives and track completion, outcomes, and return on investment.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and coordinate material planning in line with the sales plan.
  • Achieve month-over-month volume and value objectives.
  • Monitor market competition, industry trends, and business opportunities such as major auto markets, OEMs, new distributors, and new entrants.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a structured database and tracking system for prospective clients.
  • Keep reporting and performance records updated according to company standards.
  • Follow all approved company policies and procedures relevant to the role.
  • Share market developments, opportunities, threats, and competitor activity with the reporting manager in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management or the reporting manager as needed.

Candidate Profile

The preferred candidate should have a background in lubricants or lubricant solutions.

Compensation

The role offers an annual salary package of INR 2,25,000 to INR 7,25,000.
