About Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Al Marjan Island is a luxury beachfront resort project in the United Arab Emirates, planned to open in 2027. About the Role
The company is hiring an Assistant Shift Manager to support the Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) Administration team. This position plays a key role in ensuring day-to-day gaming operations run efficiently, safely, and in line with applicable rules and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the smooth daily running of the EGM operation while ensuring compliance with gaming regulations.
- Track machine performance and coordinate repair or maintenance follow-up with technicians when needed.
- Help manage jackpots, hand pays, and cash-related transactions according to company procedures.
- Assist with rostering and supervision of EGM supervisors and floor attendants.
- Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to team members on the job.
- Handle guest concerns and disputes quickly, tactfully, and professionally.
- Contribute to a high-quality gaming experience and consistent service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with gaming legislation, internal controls, and company policies.
- Protect the integrity of EGM assets, equipment, and operational records.
- Watch for unusual or suspicious activity and help enforce security procedures.
- Prepare shift reports covering operations, machine activity, and revenue performance.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings substantial EGM operations experience, a strong grasp of gaming machinery and regulations, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. The role also requires flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Experience and Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in EGM operations.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Solid understanding of EGM mechanics and gaming compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting ability.
- Capability to manage flexible shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
