Job description
About the Role
For the ZARA HOME store in the Mall of Berlin, we are looking for a full-time Assistant Store Manager (m/w/d) on a permanent basis. In this role, you turn strategy into visible day-to-day results and help keep the store running at a high standard.
The position brings together leadership, team development, commercial focus, and operational discipline. You will work closely with the Store Manager and play an important part in shaping performance, customer experience, and team momentum.
Key Responsibilities
Your work focuses on leading people, improving store outcomes, and keeping daily operations aligned with business goals. You help translate commercial objectives into practical actions on the shop floor.
You support team leadership, nurture talent, and make sure priorities are clear so that service, sales, and team energy all move in the right direction.
Together with the Store Manager, you help make decisions, set priorities, and continuously improve the store’s results, both in how it feels to customers and how it performs in the numbers.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who understands that successful retail leadership combines direction, motivation, and the ability to keep an eye on sales, service, and atmosphere at the same time.
You should be comfortable working closely with a Store Manager, taking part in operational decisions, and helping to move the store forward every day.
Benefits
You will receive an attractive compensation package that includes holiday pay and Christmas bonus, along with 30 vacation days per year.
From the beginning, you will get structured training and real opportunities to grow professionally.
Additional benefits include a 25% employee discount across all INDITEX brands, a complimentary M membership with Urban Sports Club, and access to other partner offers.
Free period products are available in every store, and the “Family Start Time” gives partners extra shared time in the event of a birth or adoption.
Culture and Inclusion
Learning is part of everyday life here, mistakes are understood as part of development, and your contribution matters from day one. The company values individuality and provides space for you to grow with your own ideas.
INDITEX emphasizes diversity, support for the LGBTQIA+ community, equal opportunity, and inclusion for people with disabilities, with flexible and individualized support where needed.
Additional Information
This role is based in Berlin, Berlin, Germany, and is a full-time, onsite position. It is offered as an indefinite employment contract.
