Associate Dentist

Role overview

An opportunity is open for an Associate Dentist to join a supportive dental practice for up to four days each week, with a planned start after July 2026. The position is based in Stirling, Otago, New Zealand.

Compensation

The role is offered on a 50% earnings arrangement that applies to both NHS and private work.

Practice environment

The team is described as welcoming and well supported, with fully qualified support staff and modern clinical facilities. The practice includes two recently renovated surgeries.

Clinical operations make use of the Software of Excellence patient record system. Each surgery is equipped with Rotary Endo, and a shared Dentsply Sirona digital scanner is available for prosthetics and orthodontics.

Candidate profile

Applicants are expected to have completed VT training, hold full GDC registration, and be eligible for a Health Board List Number. A bachelor's degree is also required, and prior dental experience of at least one year is preferred.

Additional requirements

Candidates should be able to commute reliably or be willing to relocate to Erskine.
