Role Overview
XDAi is an AI-driven real estate investment intelligence platform being developed within Xavia Development. It is designed to support feasibility studies, investor reporting, capital raising, project tracking, and decision-making across development opportunities.
The company is seeking an Associate Founder / Venture Lead to help move XDAi from an early concept into a scalable, fundable business. This is a founder-track position, not a traditional salaried employee role. The successful candidate will work closely with the founder and senior leadership to represent the platform externally, pursue strategic opportunities, support fundraising, build partner and investor relationships, and influence the commercial strategy.
The role is best suited to someone with strong founder mentality, a high level of ownership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to move comfortably across real estate, technology, capital markets, and business development.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive and support fundraising activities for XDAi, including investor outreach, pitch preparation, follow-ups, and engagement with capital partners.
- Develop and manage relationships with angel investors, venture capital firms, family offices, real estate investors, strategic partners, and startup or government ecosystem stakeholders.
- Create investor-facing materials such as business cases, financial stories, valuation positioning, and funding proposals.
- Help establish XDAi as a credible AI-enabled platform for real estate investment and development intelligence.
- Identify and secure partnerships with developers, family offices, asset managers, architects, funds, consultants, and technology partners.
- Build routes to market for XDAi, including pilot users, founding members, strategic clients, white-label arrangements, and institutional partnerships.
- Represent the business in meetings, networking events, startup programmes, investor sessions, and industry forums.
- Work with the founder and product team to convert market feedback into product priorities.
- Contribute input on user experience, investor dashboards, reporting functions, feasibility tools, and commercial applications.
- Support pricing, go-to-market planning, user acquisition, and the development of early revenue streams.
- Help evolve XDAi from an internal intelligence tool into a scalable SaaS/platform business.
- Carry out market research, competitor review, feasibility analysis, investor benchmarking, and trend tracking.
- Assist in reviewing real estate development opportunities across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and other target markets.
- Prepare project summaries, investment memos, feasibility decks, and risk mitigation narratives.
- Work directly with the founder on strategic priorities, fundraising campaigns, investor communications, and business planning.
- Manage multiple workstreams with speed, discipline, and accountability.
- Coordinate timelines, follow-ups, external stakeholders, and commercial deliverables.
- Operate with independence, urgency, discretion, and strong founder-level ownership.
Ideal Profile
The right candidate will be commercially sharp, articulate, resourceful, and comfortable working in an early-stage environment where processes are still being built.
Prior exposure or strong interest in at least two of these areas is preferred: venture capital, fundraising, private capital, family office networks, investor relations, real estate development, real estate investment, asset management, real estate advisory, startups, SaaS, AI platforms, proptech, fintech, venture building, business development, strategic partnerships, corporate development, founder office work, financial modelling, market analysis, investment analysis, or commercial strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in business development, investor relations, fundraising, or strategic partnerships.
- Confidence communicating with investors, senior leaders, partners, and clients.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to connect real estate and technology narratives.
- Comfort preparing pitch decks, investment summaries, financial narratives, business proposals, and strategic documents.
- Self-starter mindset with strong follow-through and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and comfort with numbers, financial models, market sizing, and commercial assumptions.
- Must be based in Singapore or able to work actively within the Singapore business and investor ecosystem.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in real estate investment, development, asset management, venture capital, private equity, family office, proptech, fintech, or SaaS.
- An existing network of investors, family offices, developers, agents, consultants, banks, accelerators, or startup ecosystem participants.
- Familiarity with Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, or broader Asia-Pacific real estate markets.
- Experience raising capital, supporting fundraising campaigns, or building investor pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Urban Planning, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred but not required.
Success Measures
Within the first 3 to 6 months, the Associate Founder / Venture Lead is expected to build a qualified investor and partner pipeline, generate meaningful investor and partnership discussions, sharpen the pitch and funding story, translate market feedback into product and commercial priorities, increase early visibility and traction, and contribute directly to fundraising, pilot acquisition, and commercial validation.
