Job description
Position overview
This role supports the bakery area by preparing fresh baked goods each day for members. The work includes following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing products so customers can take home fresh items. The position can be busy and may require handling several tasks in a short period while assisting members with bakery orders. It is a hands-on role within a team focused on delivering a positive member experience.

Key duties
- Welcome members with a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking them.
- Answer member questions and provide helpful service throughout the club as needed.
- Keep the bakery area clean, organized, and ready for members.
- Work with other associates to support a strong bakery team and stay flexible based on business needs.
- Prepare bakery items based on daily production requirements using baking equipment and recipes or make-up instructions.
- Wrap, label, and store products according to company policies and procedures.
- Follow food safety rules, sanitation standards, cold chain requirements, and inventory controls.
- Operate, clean, maintain, and sanitize equipment properly.
- Use digital and handheld tools to support sales, improve shopping, and make production and ordering decisions.
- Maintain quality, date control, and proper packaging while reducing waste and protecting fragile or high-shrink items.
- Help members make purchase decisions and keep merchandise organized and correctly stored.
- Represent the bakery and club positively while showing energy, commitment, and pride in the work.
- Follow company ethics, integrity standards, and procedures, including the Open Door Policy.
- Complete assigned work by coordinating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners while meeting priorities and deadlines.
Pay and benefits
The hourly pay range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Extra premium pay may apply in certain situations, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if more than one condition is met.

Minimum qualifications
- You must be at least 18 years old.
