Barline Machine Operator - Day Shift

Role overview

Vitaco is hiring experienced machine operators for its Barline team on the day shift, working from 6:00am to 2:30pm. This role offers multiple openings and suits someone who enjoys hands-on production work in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

What the role involves

You will operate high-speed machinery within the Barline area and, ideally, contribute to line setup and line improvements. A strong understanding of SOPs, quality standards, manufacturing records, and correct packing processes is essential to ensure products are made and packed accurately and in line with documentation.

Experience in machine operation in areas such as sheeting, mixing, enrobing, and chocolate tempering will be highly valued.

What you need to bring

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical mindset, good troubleshooting ability, and the confidence to work in a production setting with changing priorities. You should be physically capable of regularly lifting up to 25kg and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A positive attitude toward continuous improvement, flexibility, adaptability, and a clear commitment to workplace health and safety are important.

Pre-employment checks
