Role Overview

This full-time Bartender position is based at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering high-standard beverage service, maintaining a polished bar environment, and supporting smooth daily operations in line with the property’s service and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

You will be expected to provide courteous and professional beverage service, uphold quality and cleanliness standards, and support efficient bar operations throughout the shift. The role also includes following SOPs, preparing drinks accurately, managing stock handovers, and contributing to a safe and well-run bar area.

• Serve guests in line with the resort’s standards for beverage quality, presentation, sanitation, and professional service.
• Demonstrate warm hospitality and a consistently professional approach while interacting with guests.
• Take ownership of the presentation, cleanliness, and overall condition of your work area.
• Follow Beverage Department standard operating procedures and suggest practical improvements when appropriate.
• Prepare the bar before service begins, including liquor, ice, glassware, juices, and garnishes.
• Handle drink orders in the correct sequence, verify orders accurately, and manage billing promptly.
• Mix cocktails according to the standard beverage manual, using prescribed measurements.
• Check liquor received against the prior shift’s requisitions and report any mismatch to the Bar Supervisor.
• Maintain security in the bar area and never leave without proper relief from another colleague.
• Support closing and cleaning tasks such as mopping floors, clearing cans and bottles, cleaning counters and rails, and removing melting ice from bins.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Previous experience working in Food & Beverage or restaurant operations.
• Strong enthusiasm for delivering excellent service.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Good spoken English.
