  • Review and label model outputs for scientific correctness, usefulness, and safe handling of sensitive material.
  • Follow structured rules to categorize prompts and conversations.

Ideal Background

  • A PhD in biology or a closely related life-science discipline, either completed or currently in progress, such as molecular biology, microbiology, virology, genetics, biochemistry, bioinformatics, synthetic biology, or immunology.
  • Strong practical understanding of current laboratory and computational methods in the relevant specialty.
  • Excellent scientific reasoning skills and clear written English.
  • Good judgment regarding biosecurity and the responsible treatment of dual-use information.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure through research or coursework to biosafety, biosecurity, pathogen biology, or gain-of-function topics.
  • Experience evaluating, scoring, or red-teaming technical material.

Schedule and Engagement

The project begins immediately. The expected workload is part-time, typically 15 to 25 hours per week, with flexibility to go up to 40 hours per week.
