Overview

This opening is for a dual-study business analyst track with a partner company of Haystack, where the practical placement begins on September 1, 2026. The role is centered on improving business processes through digital tools, automation, and data-driven analysis.

What You Will Do

  • Take part in a practice-based dual study programme and complete the on-the-job portion with a major technical service provider.
  • Design digital solutions that streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and support colleagues from early idea stage through to the finished tool.
  • Review current processes, document how they work, suggest refinements, and track the impact of changes using KPIs.
  • Build small apps and automations, including solutions created with Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Create KPI dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Own and run small projects, while providing regular status updates on progress.

Requirements

  • High school completion or an equivalent qualification with strong marks in Mathematics, Computer Science, and German.
  • A completed vocational training is preferred.
  • Must satisfy the university admission criteria, such as the required NC.
  • Strong enthusiasm for digital and technical subjects, along with solid PC and English skills.
  • Initial exposure to Python or JavaScript is an advantage, and familiarity with databases or cloud services is helpful.
  • Good command of Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform.
  • Ability to work on your own, with a dependable and committed approach.
