Role overview
This full-time, on-site opportunity in Pune is for a Business Development Associate. The role is centered on building and supporting distributor and super stockist networks, coordinating onboarding activities, and assisting with territory expansion and sales planning.
Key responsibilities
- Search for and identify potential super stockists and distributors within the assigned regions.
- Stay in regular contact with channel partners and support ongoing relationship management.
- Handle onboarding coordination and the related documentation for distributors.
- Keep distributor details and CRM records accurate and up to date.
- Arrange meetings between leadership and potential partners.
- Track agreements, approvals, and onboarding progress through to completion.
- Prepare MIS updates on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Research FMCG, beverage, and food distribution markets to identify opportunities.
- Assist with sales planning and expansion of the territory footprint.
Candidate profile
Applicants should be graduates in commerce, management, marketing, or a closely related discipline. The company is open to freshers, and candidates with up to 1 year of experience in sales coordination, distribution handling, FMCG, food and beverage, channel development, or sales support will also be considered. Strong written and verbal communication, coordination, follow-up ability, and comfort with travel are important. Familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and CRM tools will be useful. Knowledge of distributor and channel partner workflows is an added advantage. Fluency in both English and Hindi is expected.
Additional details
