Role Overview
This position is for a Business Development Manager at the Senior Executive / Assistant Manager level, reporting to the Zonal Manager in Noida/Ghaziabad. The role sits within the Hotels business, one of the company’s largest and fastest-expanding verticals, focused on creating strong travel experiences through a broad hotel supply network.
Business Context
The Hotels function works across technology, revenue, marketing, product, and operations to maintain the right mix of availability, pricing, and service quality for travelers. Within this setup, the Independent Hotels team manages the domestic independent hotel supply across India and works with a large contracted network of more than 70,000 hotels.
Role Objective
The selected candidate will build and maintain relationships with independent hotels, manage accounts end to end, and help sustain strong regional performance. The role involves travel across the assigned portfolio and requires providing guidance, performance analysis, and practical recommendations to hotel partners based on industry best practices.
Core Responsibilities
- Build engagement with independent hotels and maintain strong partner relationships.
- Handle end-to-end account ownership and support steady regional growth.
- Identify, source, and onboard new hotel partners.
- Expand market revenue by creating business plans that support revenue targets.
- Monitor inventory to ensure supply stays ahead of demand and keep pricing competitive across platforms.
- Develop and preserve supplier relationships and train hotel partners on the extranet and wholesale processes.
- Review monthly production, share feedback with high-performing hotels, and conduct market visits.
- Create MIS and market intelligence reports, along with geography-wise and service-wise sales plans.
- Share market and industry insights with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Lead networking, deal initiation, negotiations, and deal closures.
- Work on positioning hotels effectively so partners can better serve customers and grow business.
Qualifications and Experience
A master’s degree from a reputed institute is required, along with 2 to 4 years of experience in sales, travel trade, key account management, contracting, or B2B sales. Experience managing several accounts simultaneously is preferred. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is needed.

Additional Information
