Role Overview
The company is expanding in the Middle East and is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to support growth across the UAE and the wider Gulf region. This position is designed for someone who wants to create business opportunities, not simply manage existing accounts.
The role goes beyond traditional selling. It involves creating strategic partnerships, opening conversations with influential industrial clients, and directly contributing to the expansion of an international business operating in more than 150 countries. The position offers a high degree of independence, direct interaction with senior decision-makers, and the chance to shape the growth of services including engineering, technical assistance, recruitment, employer of record (EOR), and project support.
What You Will Do
You will identify new business opportunities, grow a client base, and build durable relationships with major organizations across sectors such as energy, oil and gas, power, infrastructure, mining, and industrial operations.
Your responsibilities will span the full commercial cycle, from prospecting and negotiations through to contract finalization and account growth. You will work closely with recruitment and operational colleagues to ensure client needs are met with effective solutions.
You will also represent IOTA Group throughout the region, help strengthen its market visibility, and support the broader growth strategy in one of the world’s most dynamic business markets.
Candidate Profile
The ideal person is a proactive business developer with a strong commercial drive and a genuine passion for generating new opportunities. Backgrounds in engineering services, technical assistance, recruitment, staffing, consulting, or other B2B service environments are all relevant, provided you can create opportunities, earn client trust, and deliver measurable results.
Prior experience in the UAE or wider Middle East region is considered a major advantage.
Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, recruitment, staffing, or engineering services is required.
You should have a demonstrated history of winning new business, building strong client relationships, and closing commercial agreements successfully.
Strong communication, negotiation, and networking abilities are essential, along with a results-oriented and entrepreneurial approach.
Exposure to the UAE or Middle East market, and/or experience in energy, oil and gas, power, infrastructure, or industrial sectors, will be highly beneficial.
