Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position is based in Parramatta, New South Wales. The Business Development Manager will focus on finding and winning new business, strengthening relationships with clients, and supporting revenue growth. The role includes market analysis, preparation of business development strategies, lead creation, and successful deal closure. You will also work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to help deliver a strong customer experience and support company objectives.

Responsibilities

The role involves exploring new commercial opportunities, building long-term client partnerships, and contributing to sales growth.

  • Research market conditions and identify potential business prospects.
  • Create and execute strategic plans to grow the business.
  • Generate qualified leads and manage them through the sales cycle.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales opportunities effectively.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients.
  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align efforts and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Use CRM tools to track opportunities and manage the pipeline.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, market research, and lead generation.
  • Strong background in sales, negotiation, and managing client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and put into action strategic business plans.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
  • Adaptable to changing market conditions and new industry developments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions or in retail, hospitality, or B2B wholesale will be considered an advantage.
