Role overview
This is a key early sales hire for a company that is scaling its go-to-market strategy and assembling an energetic sales team. The role is being built in-person to support collaboration, shared learning, and faster progression.
As the first Business Development Representative, you will have a direct influence on growth, help shape the sales culture, and work closely with leadership as the outbound motion continues to mature.

Responsibilities
Your day-to-day work will focus on generating qualified sales opportunities and improving outbound execution.
- Book discovery meetings for the sales team.
- Improve and sharpen the existing outbound process.
- Make cold calls to prospective customers.
- Build and manage email and LinkedIn outreach sequences.
- Set a high standard for future BDR performance.
Experience and skills
The ideal candidate brings early-stage outbound sales experience and a strong appetite for prospecting.
- Between 6 and 18 months of BDR or SDR outbound prospecting experience.
- A history of consistently beating quota.
- A resilient, proactive hunting mindset.
- Previous experience in a startup environment.
- Confident and effective at cold calling.
- Strong operational discipline in running outreach sequences and cadences.

- Exposure to eCommerce.
- A background in law or legal services.
