Job description

Role overview

Emirates is hiring cabin crew for a Dubai-based role, with relocation support included. This position is about much more than serving meals and drinks: you will be the airline’s public face, guiding passengers, helping them feel comfortable, and responding calmly across a variety of situations.

The job places safety first. You will be expected to confidently oversee service, security, and safety-related procedures on board while delivering a polished and welcoming customer experience. Training is provided through Emirates’ learning facility in Dubai.

What the role involves

  • Represent the airline professionally and support passengers throughout the journey.
  • Offer clear guidance, assistance, and a reassuring presence to travelers from different backgrounds.
  • Manage onboard service while keeping safety and security standards at the forefront.
  • Stay composed, take charge when needed, and adapt smoothly to changing situations.
  • Maintain an authentic, customer-focused experience in line with the Emirates brand values.

What Emirates is looking for

  • At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people from many cultures.
  • Minimum education level: high school graduate, Grade 12.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Minimum height of 160 cm, with the ability to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes.
  • No visible tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform unless fully covered with bandages or cosmetics.
  • Willingness to be based in Dubai and meet UAE employment visa requirements.

Working style and expectations

You should be committed to consistently high standards, comfortable handling a busy and demanding schedule, and able to work in a practical, solution-oriented way. The role also calls for cultural awareness and the ability to reflect the Emirates character: professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary, and cosmopolitan.

Salary and benefits

The compensation package has three parts: a fixed monthly base salary, hourly flying pay, and an overseas meal allowance. The stated pay figures are for Grade II (Economy Class) and are approximate.

  • Basic salary: AED 4,980 per month
  • Flying pay: AED 69.60 per hour, based on an average of 80–100 flight hours per month
  • Average total pay: AED 11,244 per month (approximately USD 3,100, EUR 2,600, or GBP 2,280)
  • Meal allowances for night stops are added to salary in arrears the following month
  • Free hotel accommodation and airport transportation are provided by the company
  • Competitive tax-free salary
  • Profit share
  • Concessional travel
  • Relocation support to help you settle in Dubai
  • Free accommodation and transport
  • Medical, life, and dental insurance
  • Discounted flights for friends and family
