Where you'll work
Job description
Role overview
Emirates is looking for confident, adaptable cabin crew members who can represent the airline with warmth and professionalism. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for customers during their journey, helping them with guidance, service, and reassurance throughout the flight.
The position goes beyond hospitality. Safety is the top priority, so you will be expected to manage onboard service, security, and safety procedures calmly and decisively. Training is delivered through a world-class learning environment in Dubai.
What the role involves
You will deliver attentive passenger service, support travellers from different cultures, and maintain a high standard of care on every flight. The job also requires you to respond confidently in safety-related situations and to operate effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and experience
A strong background in hospitality or customer service is required, along with a positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well with people from many backgrounds. Applicants must have completed at least Grade 12, be fluent in both written and spoken English, and meet the height requirement of 160 cm minimum with a reach of 212 cm on tiptoes to access emergency equipment on all aircraft types.
Visible tattoos are not permitted while wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform unless they are fully covered with bandages or cosmetics. Successful candidates will be based in Dubai and must satisfy UAE employment visa requirements.
Working style and expectations
Candidates should be consistently high-performing, solution-focused, culturally aware, and able to handle a demanding schedule. The airline is seeking people who can create an authentic customer experience while reflecting a professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary, and cosmopolitan brand personality.
Pay and benefits
Compensation includes three parts: a fixed monthly basic salary, hourly pay for operated flights, and an overseas meal allowance.
The basic salary is AED 4,980 per month. Flying pay is AED 69.60 per hour, based on an average of 80 to 100 flying hours each month. The average total monthly pay is AED 11,244, which is approximately USD 3,100, EUR 2,600, or GBP 2,280 for Grade II Economy Class roles.
Meal allowances for overnight stays are added to salary arrears in the following month. The company also provides hotel accommodation and transport to and from the airport.
Additional benefits include tax-free pay, profit sharing, concessional travel, relocation support for moving to Dubai, free accommodation and transport, medical insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, and discounted flights for friends and family.
