CAD Engineer

Role overview

We are looking for a CAD Engineer to join the Wurzen site and support engineering work within a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create 2D general arrangement drawings, including all related interfaces.
• Work on 3D models in STEP format, updating component dimensions and integrating external parts where needed.
• Contribute to the global pharma team by supporting international projects and processes.
• Partner closely with production teams to verify components, fit, and actual geometries directly on the equipment.
• Prepare technical documentation and carry out revision updates.

Candidate profile

• A background as a technical drafter, product designer, or another comparable technical qualification, such as a state-certified technician, is preferred.
• Strong CAD capability in 2D drafting and 3D modelling/modification, with tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on CAD experience.
• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning is an advantage.
• You should be a dependable, resilient team player.
• Very good command of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills are required.
