Job description

The role

This senior leadership position is responsible for shaping and executing an organisation-wide change management approach for a major transformation programme. The role brings together strategy and delivery, with accountability for change, communications, and stakeholder engagement to support adoption and long-term outcomes.

You will operate as both a strategic adviser and a practical delivery lead, moving between high-level planning and hands-on execution. The work will be especially important in complex or higher-risk streams where alignment, momentum, and clarity are critical.

Key responsibilities

  • Set and drive an enterprise change strategy that supports a large-scale transformation agenda.
  • Lead change, communication, and stakeholder engagement activity across the programme.
  • Work closely with diverse stakeholders to build alignment, influence decisions, and support adoption.
  • Coordinate change planning and communication delivery across multiple workstreams.
  • Apply recognised change frameworks and methods to structure the change approach.
  • Translate complex ideas and programme impacts into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Facilitate workshops, briefings, and other engagement sessions with senior stakeholders.
  • Operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments while maintaining credibility and sound judgement.
  • Focus on measurable outcomes, benefits realisation, and commercial impact.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience leading large organisational change initiatives in complex settings.
  • Demonstrated success designing and delivering change strategies at enterprise scale.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence a wide range of groups.
  • Experience coordinating communications and change activities across programmes.
  • Working knowledge of established change methodologies such as Prosci or ADKAR.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to run workshops and present to senior leaders.
  • Commercial awareness and a strategic mindset focused on outcomes.
  • High resilience, strong judgement, and professional credibility in changing circumstances.
